It’s ADAM & EVE not ADAM & STEVE

In writing this article I want to be categorized as a caring/concerned Christian who wants to help a person overcome his/her struggle with homosexuality.

Your upbringing and life exposure could have influenced what you find desirable and what you find repulsive with regards to homosexuality but that does not zero you into the corners of a homosexual. You were NEVER created like that – “So God created human beings, making them to be like himself. He created them male and female, ”Gen 1:27 GNB

Many people claim that homosexuality is an inborn trait.But I ask; is a person born greedy, jealous, malicious, gossip, slanderer, thief, child abuser, serial killer? homosexuality is definitely not inborn. However, it’s not a new practice because there really isn’t anything new under the sun; it had always been an old time challenge. “. . . Do not fool yourselves; people who are immoral or who worship idols or are adulterers or homosexual perverts” 1 Cor 6:9b GNB

This generation tries to lessen the severity of this sin by softening its description. The Bible does not describe homosexuals as “lesbians” “gay” or living an “alternative lifestyle”. Rather the bible says; “No man is to have sexual relations with another man; God hates that” - Lev 18:22 GNB

“If a man has sexual relations with another man, they have done a disgusting thing, and both shall be put to death. They are responsible for their own death” – Lev 20:13 GNB

In conclusion I wish to encourage you that, whatever factors that has led to this struggle with homosexual attraction, ranging from —low self-esteem, gender emptiness, gender attraction, sexual attraction, homosexual reinforcement, homosexual identity; are certainly resolvable by the grace available at Calvary. “Remember Sodom and Gomorrah, and the nearby towns, whose people acted as those angels did and indulged in sexual immorality and perversion: they suffer the punishment of eternal fire as a plain warning to all” - Jud 1:7 GNB

I know you can overcome this unholy temptation by God’s grace. Never dwell in secrecy as this evil thrives on secrecy; you can turn to bible believing leaders for help & develop Godly character.
